Daniel M. Lichtstein, M.D., M.A.C.P.

Dr. Lichtstein received his Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University in 1970 (Honors College) and his Doctor of Medicine from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center in 1974. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital in 1977 and was chief medical resident there from 1977-78. He then entered private practice in West Palm Beach from 1978 until 1996. In 1996, Dr. Lichtstein rejoined UMMSM and served as Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency at Jackson Memorial from 2004-2006. Dr. Lichtstein was elected to Mastership of the American College of Physicians in 2013.
Jeri J. Van Meter, M.H.A.
Director, Graduate Medical Education
Jeri received her Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Business Management degree and her Master of Health Administration degree from the University of North Florida. She has extensive experience in Graduate Medical Education, working at both the institutional and program levels. Prior to joining the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Jeri managed the Cardiology Fellowship programs at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville. Outside of the office, Jeri can be found in the stands cheering on her son’s marching band, practicing yoga, and listening to live music.
